Black Dotted Line On Os Map

The symbols column has the tint as shown in the key to the map. Sometimes the title deeds and other information we are given do not show the true position of a boundary. Green dotted lines on os maps show trails with rights of way, while black dotted lines show trails that may or may not be a right of way.

The black dotted lines (which are a remnant from older versions of os maps) are much more accurate but obscured by the thick dotted green lines which plunge of cliffs and go places no one in their right mind would walk.
